July 2019 Optometrist Licensure Examination results released in four (4) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 260 out of 295 passed the Optometrist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Optometry in Manila this July 2019.   

The members of the Board of Optometry are Dr. Bernardita A. Garcia, Chairman; Dr. Irene Christine C. Peliño and Dr. Mario T. Flores, Jr., Members.

The results were released in four (4) working days from the last day of examinations.

July 2019 Special Certification Examination in Ocular Pharmacology for Optometrists result released in eight (8) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 5 out of 12 passed the Special Certification Examination in Ocular Pharmacology for Optometrists given by the Board of Optometry in Manila this July 2019. 

The members of the Board of Optometry are Dr. Bernardita A. Garcia, Chairman; Dr. Irene Christine C. Peliño and Dr. Mario T. Flores, Jr., Members.

Suspension of Services in PRC Off-site Service Center in Robinsons Place Santiago on 25 July 2019

The Professional Regulation Commission announces the temporary suspension of services of its Off-site Service Center in Robinsons Place Santiago on 25 July 2019 (Thursday), in celebration of the “Aggaw na Naturales Day” in the City of Santiago, Province of Isabela.

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 769, “Declaring Thursday, 25 July 2019, A Special (Non-working) Day in the City of Santiago, Province of Isabela”.

The said office will resume its operations on 26 July 2019 (Friday).

General Consultation on the Draft Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Guidelines

With the objective to effectively implement Republic Act No. 10912 or the CPD Act, a general consultation on the draft CPD Guidelines was conducted last 9 July 2019 at Bulwagang Nubla, 5th Floor, Main Building, Morayta, Sampaloc, Manila.

Hon. Yolanda D. Reyes, Oversight Commissioner for CPD Program presided over the said consultation together with Hon. Bernadette M. Reyes, CPD Project Manager,  and other members of the Program Management Committee (PMC). The consultation was attended by various CPD Councils.

Suspension of PRC Services in Robinsons Place General Santos

The Professional Regulation Commission announces the temporary suspension of services of its office in Robinsons Place General Santos on 22 July 2019 (Monday), in celebration of its Indigenous People 5th Blaan Day.

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 767, “Declaring Monday, 22 July 2019, A Special (Non-working) Day in the City of General Santos”.

Cancellation of the 1 August 2019 Licensure Examination for Real Estate Appraisers

The Professional Regulation Commission announces the cancellation of the Licensure Examination for Real Estate Appraisers scheduled on 1 August 2019 in the cities of Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. This is following the low turnout of applicants for the said examination in the aforementioned testing centers.

Regional Directors shall coordinate with the Licensure Division relative to the cancellation and advise concerned applicants/examinees to take the examination either in Cagayan de Oro, Manila or Tacloban.

June 2019 Interior Design Licensure Examination results released in fourteen (14) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 211 out of 320 passed the Interior Designer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Interior Design in Manila last June 2019.

The members of the Board of Interior Design who gave the licensure examination are Sonia Santiago-Olivares, Chairman and Maria Carlota D. Hilvano, Member.

The results were released in fourteen (14) working days after the last day of examination.
