2026 Special Professional Licensure Examinations for Overseas Filipino Workers in the Middle East Countries, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that the Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) will be conducted in the Middle East Countries, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan on May 28, 29, and 30, 2026 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).

The licensure examinations to be administered:

  5. Certified Public Accountants
  6. Chemical Engineers
  7. Chemical Technicians
  8. Civil Engineers
  9. Criminologists
  10. Customs Brokers
  11. Electronics Engineers
  12. Electronics Technicians
  13. Environmental Planners
  14. Geodetic Engineers
  15. Interior Designers
  16. Master Plumbers
  17. Mechanical Engineers
  18. Medical Technologists
  19. Midwives
  20. Nurses
  21. Nutritionists-Dieticians
  22. Pharmacists
  23. Physical Therapists
  24. Professional Food Technologists
  25. Professional Teachers
  26. Psychologists
  27. Psychometricians
  28. Radiologic Technologists
  29. Real Estate Appraisers

Likewise, the Professional Electronics Engineers Oral Examination will be conducted in Abu-Dhabi, UAE on May 28-30, 2026 (Thursday to Saturday) and the Professional Mechanical Engineers Oral Examination will be conducted in Dubai, UAE on May 24-29, 2026 (Sunday to Friday).

Licensure Examinations in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan will be held simultaneously wit the time and schedule in the Middle East Countries.

Prescribed Examination Fees are as follows:

Requiring Baccalaureate Degree – P2,200.00
Requiring Non-Baccalaureate Degree – P1,700.00
For Removal Examination – P1,400.00

Applicants, including the first-level examinees for the Professional Mechanical Engineers Oral Examination, will apply and pay the corresponding examination fees online, through the PRC Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS).

The application period will commence on February 16, 2026 and end on March 16, 2026.

After completing the online application process and payment, all applicants shall submit clear scanned copies of their respective application documents, which include:

  1. The duly accomplished Application Form (generated from the LERIS);
  2. Two (2) passport size pictures, with white background, and with complete name tag: and
  3. Prescribed application documents per Board, as enumerated in the Commission’s website.

NOTES:

  1. For the Transcript of Records (TOR), TOR without picture or without remarks
    “For Board Exam Purposes” will be accepted.
  2. A copy of valid passport will be accepted in lieu of birth certificate and valid NBI Clearance.
  3. Married female applicants shall be required to submit a marriage certificate.

Applicants shall present their examination requirements (physical/hard copies) to the PRC Delegation Team upon arrival at the testing centers. Additionally, the delegation team will coordinate the schedule of onsite evaluation to the concerned examinees.
