The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

ASEAN Immigration Lane to holders of ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers (ACPE), ASEAN Architects (AA), ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountants (ASEAN CPA) Identification Card

On 31 May 2023, Commissioner Norman G. Tansingco, Bureau of Immigration (BI), confirmed that passengers holding passports/travel documents issued by ASEAN member countries, and in possession of ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers (ACPE), ASEAN Architects (AA), ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountants (ASEAN CPA) Identification Cards shall be accommodated and served at the designated “ASEAN Immigration Lane” at the international ports.

The passengers shall only need to present their duly accredited ASEAN Identification Cards or APEC business cards to the Officer-of-the-Day counters at the international ports.

BI also assured the Professional Regulation Commission of its commitment to mutual cooperation in enhancing the immigration processes and ease of movement in international ports.
