MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Career Progression and Specialization Program – Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (CPSP-CATS) Health and Allied Cluster successfully held its second meeting on Friday, 30 May 2025, at the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC/Commission), Central Office Morayta, Sampaloc, Manila.

The meeting was spearheaded by Hon. L. Louis P. Valera, Assistant Commissioner and Oversight for CPSP-CATS, together with Vice Program Manager of the CPSP-CATS Program Management Committee (PMC), Hon. Cecilia Herras-Tence. Joining them was the Chairperson of the Health and Allied Cluster, Hon. Rolland Lyle D. Duque, and CPSP-CATS Consultant, Ms. Perla Gonzales-Po. Also in attendance were key representatives from various Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs) and CPSP-CATS Committees under the Health and Allied Cluster. The event was assisted and facilitated by the PRC CPSP-CATS Secretariat.

The meeting provided a vital platform for comprehensive updates from the PRBs and CPSP-CATS Committees, focusing on the formulation of Career Progression Frameworks and the development of implementing guidelines for each identified CPSP. Additionally, it fostered the exchange of valuable insights, shared accomplishments, and outlined strategic directions to ensure the seamless and effective rollout of specialized career pathways for Filipino professionals. Moreover, it underscores the Cluster’s steadfast commitment to fostering excellence, enhancing professional mobility, and building a future-ready Filipino workforce. As the CPSP-CATS continues to take shape, it paves the way for a transformative period in professional development—one where every step forward is a step toward progress.
