Fourth Meeting of the CPSP-CATS Technology Cluster
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Career Progression and Specialization Program – Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (CPSP-CATS) Technology Cluster of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) successfully convened its fourth meeting on Tuesday, 07 October 2025, at the PRC Central Office, Sampaloc, Manila.
The meeting was presided by Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz, Chairperson of the CPSP-CATS Technology Cluster, together with Assistant Commissioner L. Louis P. Valera, and Hon. Cecilia Herras-Tence, Vice Program Manager of the CPSP-CATS Program Management Committee (PMC), and Chairperson of the CPSP-CATS Committee of Landscape Architecture. Also present were key representatives from the Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs) and CPSP-CATS Committees under the Technology Cluster. The activity was facilitated by the PRC CPSP-CATS Secretariat.
Discussions during the meeting centered on the current status of the Committees’ draft CPSP Resolution and Level Alignment Matrices (LAMs), pressing challenges presently faced by the respective CPSP-CATS Committees. The cluster also discussed the operational challenges faced by different committees, raised issues for elevation to the CPSP-CATS PMC, and offered recommendations to streamline processes and strengthen coordination across clusters.
The ongoing evolution of the CPSP-CATS marks another step in the PRC’s vision of a stronger, more empowered professional community. By fostering excellence and accountability, the Commission continues to pave the way for a future where Filipino professionals thrive locally and globally.
