The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at:

All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

UP Manila Clinches the OTLE Top Spot

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists licensure examination results were out two (2) working days after its conduct on June 15 and 16, 2023. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that seven hundred eight (708) out of one thousand and twenty-six (1,026) successfully passed the June 2023 Physical Therapists Licensure Examination (PTLE) while one hundred twenty-eight (128) out of two hundred fifteen (215) passed the Occupational Therapists Licensure Examination (OTLE).  For PTLE, Edzelle Mhay Benitez Naquila of Southwestern University got the highest percentage rating of 89.90%; while Nadine Frances Yap Reyes of the University of the Philippines (UP) – Manila topped the OTLE.  Having obtained the highest percentage rating of 85.40%, Reyes led the OTLE list of passers.

Embraced with the skills and abilities aligned in the field of health care, Reyes shall continue to focus on using the holistic and person-centered approach for her future patients. As her spiritual compass dictates: “In all that you do, let the light shine through you,” Reyes deems to positively impact future OT professionals and society. Having embraced and seen the intricacies of the profession, she hopes that the public would look into not only how beautiful the profession is but also appreciate it and the professionals.       

Together with the current and new OT professionals, Ms. Reyes shall support individuals of all ages to live their lives to their fullest through constant care and assistance for the promotion of health and for the prevention – or for living better with – injury, illness, and/or disability.
