PRC Accounting Office Earns National “Outstanding Accounting Office” Honor
DAVAO CITY, PHILIPPINES - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) - Accounting Division is among the government offices that received the “Outstanding Accounting Office Award” for Calendar Year 2024 conferred by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP) during its Annual National Convention held at the SMX Lanang Convention Center, Davao City on October 7, 2025.
The award was based on rigorous evaluation criteria established by AGAP in collaboration with the Commission on Audit (COA) and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), focusing on accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and adherence to existing accounting and budgeting rules and regulations. This recognition highlights the exemplary performance of the PRC - Accounting Division, a testament to the team's meticulous work and dedication to sound fiscal stewardship.
The prestigious award was proudly received by PRC Chairperson Charito A. Zamora, together with Atty. Angiereen Medina, Director IV of the Administrative Service, Ms. Henyliza D. Trinidad, CPA, Officer-In-Charge of the Accounting Division, and PRC’s dedicated Central and Regional Accountants.
This honor recognizes the PRC’s Accounting Division and its Regional Counterparts' unwavering adherence to the highest standard of government accounting, commitment to excellence and transparency in public financial management, ensuring sound fiscal stewardship in support of the Commission’s mandate to deliver efficient and accountable public service.
As PRC continues to advance its financial management systems and practices, the Accounting Division and its regional counterparts remain steadfast in their pursuit of accurate, reliable, transparent, and compliant accounting management - embodying the ideals of good governance, fiscal integrity, and professional accountability.
