MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) participated in a workshop on Quality Assurance (QA) systems and practices with the Department of Education (DepEd), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), as member agencies of the Philippine Qualifications Framework National Coordinating Council (PQF-NCC) Working Group, on 08–10 September 2025 at Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.

Representing the PRC, Ms. Marie Cecille P. Fernando, Head of the CPSP-CATS Secretariat, and Mr. Daryl G. Morato, Chief PRO of the Test Development Division, presented the Commission’s QA systems, particularly the Test Development and Career Progression and Specialization Program – Credit Accumulation and Transfer System (CPSP-CATS).

The activity pursued knowledge exchange on QA systems of member agencies, strengthening cross-agency collaboration, addressing implementation gaps, and promoting a shared understanding of QA systems in Philippine education and training.
