PRC Concludes 2025 Year-End Assessment and 2026 Planning Summit “Focus on Assess, Act, Achieve”
MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) successfully concluded its 2025 Year-End Performance Assessment (YEPA) and Fiscal Year 2026 Planning Exercise at The Diamond Hotel, Manila on January 29-30, 2026. The two-day event charted the course for the Commission's direction for year 2026, anchored on evidence-based evaluation and decisive action.
The event was spearheaded by PRC Chairperson, Hon. Charito A. Zamora, together with Commissioners Hon. Erwin M. Enad and Hon. Conrado T. Onglao, and Assistant Commissioner Mr. Lord Louis P. Valera. They were joined by the Chairpersons and Members of the various Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs), PRC Regional Directors, and officials and selected employees from the Central Office.
In her keynote address, Chairperson Zamora framed the event as a critical platform to review institutional accomplishments, assess operational effectiveness, and reinforce the commitment to seamless and excellent public service. Aligning with the theme #FY2026AssessActAchieve, she challenged the agency to:
- ASSESS current performance with transparency,
- ACT with confidence on the findings, and
- ACHIEVE measurable outcomes that advance the PRC’s mission for its clients—the Filipino people.
The first day focused on the strategic inputs from the PRC Central Office. Presentations and workshops covered the Significant Accomplishments, Action Plans, Target Settings, Project Proposals, and Calendars of Activities from seven key offices: Regulation Office, Administrative Services, Licensure Office, Planning, Management, and Financial Service, Information and Communications Technology Service, Legal Service, and International Affairs Office.
Regional and Board Synergy is evident on the second day. It was devoted to three core components ensuring nationwide alignment:
- Regional Offices’ 2025 Accomplishments, 2026 Strategic Action Plans, and Project Proposals.
- Professional Regulatory Boards’ (PRBs) 2025 Accomplishment Highlights and 2026 Plans and Programs.
- Induction and Presentation of new members of the Philippine Association of Professional Regulatory Board Members, Inc. (PAPRB).
The PRC reaffirms its steadfast commitment to accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. The insights and data gathered from this summit will be translated into concrete actions and renewed resolutions, driving the Commission toward its targeted goals.
Together, the PRC moves forward, embodying the spirit of its hymn: “Serbisyo ang Misyon habang buhay,” “Responsibilidad sa Bayang Nililiyag,” at “Kahusaya’t Kaalaman, Taglay naming Propesyonal, Ipagbunyi ang PRC!”
