RIYADH, KSA - As part of its ongoing efforts to support Filipino professionals overseas, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) delegation for the PRC Middle East Project 2025 composed of Assistant Commissioner L. Louis P. Valera as head of delegation, Ms. Ella Marie L. Galima of International Affairs Office (IAO), Director Narcival Z. Taquiqui, PRC – Region VII, Director Julie L. Sabalza, PRC – Region X, Senior PRO Gary R. Jose, PRC – NCR, and Information Technology Officer John Ray P. Roaquin, PRC – Region II, paid a courtesy visit to Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) H.E. Raymond R. Balatbat at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, as well as Labor Attaché Atty. Dominador A. Salanga, and Assistant Labor Attaché Lucille T. Gayaman at the DMW Migrant Workers Office in Riyadh on 09 September 2025.

Ambassador Balatbat and Labor Attaché Salanga warmly welcomed the delegates and engaged in productive discussions focused on career advancement opportunities for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in various professional sectors through Career Progression and Specialization Program (CPSP) as well as future plans on how to continually uplift and empower Filipino professionals in the KSA. 

The 'Middle East Project 2025' is part of the PRC’s mission to connect with and support the growing community of Filipino professionals worldwide by providing Foreign Mobile Services that offer onsite essential PRC services to OFWs such as renewal of Professional Identification Cards and Initial Registration among others, within the Middle East region.
