The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC Region I, LGU Candon City, and NLPSC Inked MOA for Additional Testing Venues

Candon City, Ilocos Sur - The Professional Regulation Commission Regional Office I (Ilocos Region), through its Regional Director Atty. Arl Ruth B. Sacay-Sabelo sealed a partnership with North Luzon Philippines State College (NLSPC) represented by University President Dr. Gilbert R. Arce. The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) made NLSPC in Candon City, Ilocos Sur an additional testing venue for various licensure examinations.  The signing of the MOA marked the collaborative partnerships of the PRC Region I, the NLPSC, and the Local Government of Candon City.

The MOA signified strong support of the Candon City LGU for the programs and projects of PRC Region I, specifically in the establishment of Candon City as a testing venue. This was initiated by the Representative of the 2nd District of Ilocos Sur, Deputy Speaker Hon. Kristine Singson-Meehan, Hon. Mayor Eric Singson, and PRC Ilocos Region to bring PRC services accessible to all professionals located in the whole province of Ilocos Sur and its neighboring cities and provinces.

In attendance from PRC were the Regional Officials: Dr. Rosa Victoria P. Carungay-Quinto, Supervising Professional Regulations Officer of the Examination Section, and Mr. Johnny M. Maymaya, Jr., Chief of Finance and Administrative Division. Joining them were NLPSC VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Filipinas M. Agsalao, Congresswoman Meehan-Singson, and Mayor Singson.
