MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Observed on every 25th day of August of each year, the National Heroes Day reclaims the flame that kicked off the 1896 Philippine Revolution against the Spanish Empire and the nation’s long struggle toward the country’s independence, giving tribute to all Filipino Heroes.

Today, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) enjoins with the whole nation as we all celebrate and give deep respect and admiration for those who have sacrificed their lives for freedom and justice. Together, let us all commemorate and celebrate their heroism that resonates today, and transcends towards the future generation.

Let the legacy of courage, sacrifice, honor, and pride continue to inspire and guide all professionals in giving a selfless, patriotic and competent professional service to all the Filipino people.
