MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 067, s. 2025 the National Teachers’ Month from September 5 to October 5, 2025, with October 5, 2025 as the National Teachers’ Day.

Adjunct with Presidential Proclamation No. 242, the National Teacher’s Day aim to express honor and gratitude for the positive influence of teachers on Filipino learners and to revitalize the image of and respect for teaching as a vocation and increase public awareness of the influential and significance of teachers in the Philippine Society. 

As we celebrate and take the opportunity of further building the image of teaching as an attractive and fulfilling profession, let’s all take pride of the nation-builders of morally developed and globally-minded citizens, the gap builders in strengthening and fostering conscientiously-directed communities, and the facilitators of future ethical Filipino learners and builders. With this, may we be reminded of Malala Yousafzai’s powerful line: “One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.”
