Posted on 22 April, 2026

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hereby informs the public that an individual using the name “Mr. Joseph P. Macalalad,” who has been falsely representing himself as an employee of the PRC, is NOT, and has never been, affiliated with the Commission in any capacity.

The public is further warned that individuals who claim to be PRC employees and who allegedly notify recipients of the existence or pendency of administrative, civil, or criminal complaints against them are not connected with the PRC, particularly when such communications are made through unofficial or informal channels.

In this regard, the PRC strongly advises the public to exercise utmost caution and vigilance when dealing with persons claiming to be affiliated with the Commission but who do not use official PRC communication channels or verifiable contact information.

Any suspicious communication may be reported to the PRC for verification and appropriate action. Always verify the authenticity of communications by checking the official PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) or contacting us through our published official channels: PRC Official Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/professionalregulationcommission/.

Do not engage with or provide any personal information to unverified sources and immediately report any unusual transactions if any to the PRC Legal Service via email at legal.service@prc.gov.ph.
