Public Warning: Impostors Posing as PRC Employees

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hereby reiterates to the public that an individual named “Liza Gutierrez”, who has been purporting to represent herself as an employee of the PRC, is not and has never been connected with the PRC. The following individuals are also not affiliated with the PRC in any capacity: 

1. Jimmy N. Santidad; 

2. Dennis B. Temporal; and 

3. Federico Lacson III 

The PRC also clarifies that it lacks jurisdiction over criminal cases, such as violations of the Revised Penal Code, including offenses under Article 315 (Swindling/Estafa) and Article 318 (Other Deceits) thereof.    Any communication from someone claiming to be a PRC employee notifying you of a pending criminal complaint is deceptive and fraudulent.

REMEMBER:

✅  The PRC does NOT handle criminal cases.

✅  The PRC will NOT notify you of a criminal complaint.

We strongly urge the public to exercise extreme caution and vigilance in communicating with individuals claiming to be affiliated with the PRC but who do not use official communication channels.

Always verify the authenticity of communications by checking the official PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) or contacting us through our published official channels. Do not engage with or provide any personal information to unverified sources and immediately report any unusual transactions if any to the PRC Legal Service via email at legal.service@ prc.gov.ph .
