The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

23,174 examinees set to take the October 2013 licensure exam for Criminologists

Manila, October 24, 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today stated that 23,174 examinees will be taking the Board Licensure Examination for Criminologists on October 24, 25 and 26, 2013 in 10 testing centers nationwide.

The PRC said that bulk of Criminologist examinees comes from the National Capital Region with 5,462 examinees followed by Baguio with 4,014 examinees.

The PRC advises the examinees to be at the designated examination site/center before 7:00AM and to bring their notice of admission, two or more pencils (No.2), ballpens with BLACK INK, one piece metered-stamp window envelope, one piece long brown envelope, and one piece long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope on examination day.

The testing centers include Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, National Capital Region, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.
