The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

38,656 examinees set for June 2013 Nursing Licensure Examination

Manila, May 28, 2013 – About 38,656 examinees from various testing centers nationwide will take the Nurse Licensure Examination to be given by the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing on June 2 – 3, 2013.

The Professional Regulation Commission advises the examinees to bring their notice of admission, two or more pencils (No. 2), ballpens with BLACK INK, one piece metered stamp window envelope, one piece long brown envelope, and one piece long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope on examination day.

The testing centers include Manila, Baguio, Cabanatuan, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
