The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Conduct of Foreign Mobile Service, Professional Mechanical Engineering Examination, and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers (ACPE) One-Stop Shop in United Arab Emirates from 27 November to 2 December 2023

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is set to bring its services closer to Filipinos abroad on 27 November - 2 December 2023.

For 27-30 November 2023, the venue will be at the Migrant Workers Office - Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the following services shall be available:

  1. Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME) oral examination/technical evaluation;
  2. Initial Registration;
  3. Renewal and/or Duplication of Professional Identification Card;
  4. Issuance and/or Authentication of Certificate of Registration
  5. Issuance and/or Authentication of Rating;
  6. Issuance and/or Authentication of Passing;
  7. Issuance of Certificate of Good Standing;
  8. Issuance of Certificate of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) compliance;
  9. Issuance of Certificate of With or No Pending Administrative Case; and
  10. Other PRC Services.

For 1-2 December 2023, simultaneous with the First Middle East Mechanical Engineering Summit, the venue will be at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Dubai. The PRC will conduct its foreign mobile service, PME oral examination/technical evaluation, and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) One-Stop Shop. Said foreign mobile service shall likewise include the above-enumerated services.

The event is open to Filipino professionals in UAE, and neighboring countries in the Middle East such as but not limited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain. Interested professionals who would like to avail of the aforementioned services are required to create a transaction and pay the corresponding fees through their accounts in PRC Licensure Examination & Registration Information System (LERIS) at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. An Information Center on the Application for Board Examination to be conducted in Manila, Philippines in 2024 will also be available for Filipino graduates who intend to take the forthcoming licensure examinations.

In line with this event, the Professional Regulatory Board of Mechanical Engineering will be conducting a Professional Mechanical Engineers Oral Examination/Technical Evaluation on 27-30 November 2023 at the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai, UAE. Similarly, the PRC invites all qualified Filipino Registered Engineers in the Middle East to participate in the ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers (ACPE) Orientation and One-Stop Shop to be conducted simultaneously with the conduct of foreign mobile services on the same dates and venues. Relative to this, the application for the issuance of the following Certificates may be availed on the one-stop-shop:

  1. Issuance of Certificate of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) compliance;
  2. Issuance of Certificate of With or No Pending Administrative Case.

Filipino Registered Engineers who are interested in applying for the ACPE Register are required to complete the pre-registration form at the following Google Form link by 13 November 2023: https://forms.gle/cVchRHWXLQByJ2xR9.

Walk-in applications for the following services will not be entertained:

  1. Application for Professional Mechanical Engineers Oral Examination/Technical Evaluation; and,
