The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Important Announcement - Naval Architecture Examinees

Supplement to the special instructions to the examinees on the programs of Naval Architecture Licensure Examination on Oct 3, 2019, Thursday, for the subject: Ship Design, Building and Classing Steel and Wooden Vessels, Construction Methods and Practice.

Examinees shall be allowed to use PRS Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Steel Vessels – Revised Edition (PRS Rules Book). Before and during the examination period, the PRS Rules Book shall be subjected to thorough inspection for any markings and/or insertions of pages, among others. Books found to contain these markings insertions shall be immediately confiscated.

Examinees caught in the possession of said books shall be construed as an act of cheating, hence, shall not be allowed to continue/finish the same and shall be subjected to appropriate charges.
