The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) despite all the limitations and challenges brought by Covid-19 during the second (2nd) quarter of the year, has managed to effectively and efficiently deliver its mandated services.
Undeniably, PRC made the month of June a story of success-- weeklong virtual celebration of 48th founding anniversary lined up with exciting activities: PRC Got Talent; series of webinars namely “Lessons Learned After One Year of Covid-19 with Dr. Karl Henson”; “Climate Change Action: Blue-Green Infrastructure”, “What To Do When COVID Hits Home: Solution for the Current Surge”, and “Thriving in a Flexible Work Environment”; PRC Recognition Day, where officers and staff who have reached milestone years in their services to the Commission were honored and given due recognition; and the exciting presentations of PRC officials and employees’ talents in various competitions.
In addition, on June 25, 2021, as the country unlocks sustainable initiatives towards healthier and greener communities, the Professional Regulation Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board for Foresters, in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Society of Filipino Foresters, Inc. (SFFI), joined forces in the nationwide observance of Arbor Day or Tree Planting Day.
Indeed, with the two (2) licensure examinations conducted amidst the threat of Covid-19; relevant webinars; oathtaking of the newly appointed Professional Regulatory Boards, and the number of virtual oathtaking ceremonies of the new professionals, the month of June is undeniably a story of success. And the PRC with its burning commitment to serve, assures its clients that it will continue to provide quality and excellent services for the next months and years ahead.
