The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC and Its Commitment to Serve (March 2022)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is an organization committed to service with passion and excellence, and in the past months has managed to effectively and efficiently deliver its mandated services through its people’s concerted and collaborative efforts.

Notably, the PRC made the month of March a story of success with the appointment of Hon. Erwin M. Enad as the new Commissioner and the successful conduct of various licensure examinations for Radiologic Technologists, Dentists, Geodetic Engineers, Physicians, Medical Technologists, Professional Teachers, and Veterinarians. The onsite and virtual oathtaking ceremonies of various newly appointed Chairmen/Chairpersons and Members of the Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs), as well as the oathtaking ceremonies of the new Customs Brokers, Real Estate Salespersons, Criminologists, Respiratory Therapists, Midwives, Psychologists, Psychometricians, Optometrists, Civil Engineers, Sanitary Engineers, Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, Architects, and Master Plumbers.

In addition, the grand launching of the Centenary Year of the Philippine Accountancy Profession on March 17 marked the start of the year-long celebration to commemorate the 100th years anniversary of the accountancy profession in the Philippines pursuant to Proclamation No. 1333 by the President of the Philippines.

The PRC, with its relevant programs, projects, and activities, reiterates its commitment to continue providing quality and excellent services to its clients.
