The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC Commemorates Araw Ng Kagitingan

As the whole country celebrates the Araw ng Kagitingan, known also as the Day of Valor, the Professional Regulation Commission joins the nation in recalling and honoring the veterans’ courage and sacrifices that lead to the country’s freedom.

“Kagitingan ng mga Beterano, Pundasyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino!”

Along with this, PRC announces the temporary suspension of operations in all PRC Offices and Service Centers nationwide on April 10, 2023, in commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan.

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 90, “Declaring the Regular Holidays and Special (Non-Working) Days for the Year 2023”.

Appointments set on the said date will be accommodated upon the resumption of operations on April 11, 2023.
