The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC RO III Caters the Cabalens

CANDABA, PAMPANGA – The Professional Regulation Commission – Region III (PRC - RO III) conducted Mobile Service at the Municipality Trade Center of Candaba, Pampanga last May 14, 2023. Spearheaded by its Regional Director, Mr. Paul H. Aban, the office was able to cater four-hundred and nineteen (419) transactions which centered on the following: 1) Application for Licensure Examination, 2) Renewal and Duplicate of Professional Identification Card (PIC), 3) Initial Registration for Examination Passers, 4) Certifications, and 5) Authentications.   

Much appreciation is extended to Honorable Mayor Rene E. Maglangue and Honorable Vice-Mayor Restituto S. Sibug for the invitation and support to programs of the Commission. 

Such undertaking is in pursuit of the PRC’s thrust in bringing its services closer to the community, saving time, resources, transportation, and other incidental costs of the clients.
