The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC-RO XIII 2023 Mobile Service Kicks Off At SNSU-Surigao City

Surigao City, Surigao del Norte - The Professional Regulation Commission - Regional Office XIII conducted its first of this year’s mobile services in Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU), Surigao City on January 20-21, 2023.

A total of two thousand one hundred six (2,106) clients were served by the PRC personnel during the two-day mobile service. Among the services availed by the transacting clients are the application for various licensure examinations, initial registration of successful examinees, issuance of certifications of good standing, passing & rating, authentications of Professional Identification Cards (PICs), good standing, passing, rating & Certificate of Registration, pre-assessment of petitions for Change of Status (COS), Change of Name (CON) & Change of Date of Birth (CODB), and the provision of technical assistance to those who have issues on their online PRC accounts.

The PRC-RO XIII mobile service outreach program aims to bring the PRC services closer to the constituents of the CARAGA region, especially those who have less access or those who find it difficult to travel to the Regional Office to avail its frontline services.
