The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC-RO XIII Goes Mobile in Sursur: 1,162 Transactions Processed

Tandag City, Surigao del Sur - The Professional Regulation Commission Regional Office XIII (PRC-RO XIII) conducted its 2nd mobile service for 2023 at the Surigao del Sur Provincial Capitol, 1st Floor Lobby, Telaje, Tandag City last January 27-28, 2023

During the 2-day mobile service, the PRC RO XIII offered the following services: (1) Initial Registration of Successful Examinees; (2) Renewal of Professional Identification Card; (3) Release of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration (per prior request by the professional); (4) Issuance of Certification of Good Standing, Report of Rating and Passing; (5) Authentication of PRC documents (Certifications, PRC ID Card, Certificate of Registration); and (6)  Application for Licensure Examination.

Among the 1,162 transactions accommodated and processed, 314 of which were initial registrations, duplicate, and renewal of professional identification cards; 743 were requests for certifications and authentications; and 105 were applications for examinations.

The provincial government of Surigao del Sur under the leadership of Governor Alexander “Ayec” Pimentel assisted the mobile service team.

On his message, Gov. Pimentel emphasized, “The province is privileged of having the PRC-RO XIII here in Tandag City. As our commitment to this endeavor, my IT team developed a queuing system to expedite the processing of every transaction…I am looking forward for a monthly mobile service of the PRC here in our province while we are working on the long-term engagement with the Commission, that is, to establish a PRC service center here in Tandag City.”

The said mobile service is in adherence to the R.A. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. The PRC-RO XIII commits to uphold the Commission’s thrust in making the PRC services more accessible to the transacting professionals and would be professionals of Surigao del Sur and its nearby provinces.
