The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC RO1 Conducts Mobile Service in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan

URDANETA CITY, PANGASINAN - The Professional Regulation Commission - Regional Office 1 (PRC-RO1), headed by its Regional Director Atty. Arl Ruth B. Sacay-Sabelo and five (5) employees from PRC RO1, successfully conducted a mobile outreach service at the MMX Event Center Magic Mall, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan last May 01, 2023.

The PRC - RO 1 Team was able to cater to a total of four hundred and sixty-nine (469) transactions of professionals, as well as non-professionals, coming from the province of Pangasinan and other nearby provinces. 

The following services were provided to all the clienteles: Application for Licensure Examinations, Initial Registration, Renewal and Duplication of Professional Identification Card (PIC), Petition for Change of Status, Correction of Name/Date of Birth, Certification and Authentication of PRC Documents, and Stateboard Verification.

This event is in addition to the previous mobile services closer that PRC RO1 is providing to the constituents of the northern region.  A testament indeed to its commitment in bringing the PRC services closer to the communities.
