The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC Tuguegarao Regional Office observes “Pavvurulun Festival 2016”

Manila, August 15, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the temporary suspension of services of the PRC Tuguegarao Regional Office on August 16 (Tuesday) in observance of Proclamation No. 38, declaring August 16, 2016 as a Special (Non – working) day in the City of Tuguegarao.

Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE issued Proclamation No. 38 and stated that it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tuguegarao be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

The PRC Tuguegarao Regional Office will resume operations on August 17, 2016 (Wednesday).
