The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Twenty-Four SPLE Set in the Middle East and Singapore

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - Pursuant to Executive Order No. 835, Directing the Professional Regulation Commission and Other Concerned Government Agencies Through the Department of Labor and Employment to Conduct a Yearly Special Professional Licensure Board Examinations (SPLBE) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Other Middle East Countries for the Benefit of Qualified Overseas Filipino Workers and as part of its mandate to cater and bring services closer to OFWs, the  2023 SPLE will be conducted in Middle East countries namely Jeddah, Riyadh, and Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia; Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE; Qatar; Bahrain; and Kuwait, and also in Singapore on April 22-24, 2023. 

To ensure the integrity and conformity of the SPLE abroad and to prepare the PRC delegates, a pre-departure orientation was held last April 14, 2023 at Bulwagang, Nubla. The said orientation was also attended by PRC Commissioners, Hon. Jose Y. Cueto, Jr., and Hon. Erwin M. Enad and PRC Chairperson, Hon. Charito A. Zamora. This was to make sure that the SPLE abroad will run smoothly and seamlessly.

Expecting to have six thousand seven hundred and eight (6,708) examinees at the nine (9) Testing Centers, the Commission hopes for a successful conduct of the 2023 SPLE.
