The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,032 out of 3,924 examinees passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination for the various ranks given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila this February 2009. And a total of 333 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 372 out of 942 passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) given by the Board of Architecture headed by its Chairman, Arch. Armando N. Alli with two other members, Arch. Angeline T. Chua Chiaco and Arch. Marietta B. Segovia. The examination was held in Manila last January 16 & 18, 2009. The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 15 out of 34 passed the Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Sanitary Engineering in Manila this February 2009.

The members of the Board of Sanitary Engineering are Engr. Corazon De los Reyes-Romero, Chairman; Engr. Alfredo B. Espino and Engr. Florimond M. Lara, Members.

The results were released in one (1) working day from the last day of examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 584 out of 1,042 passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu this January 2009.

The members of the Board of Pharmacy who gave the licensure examination are Ms. Catalina C. Sanchez, Chairman; Mr. Reynaldo Maxlito H. Umali and Ms. Jennifer M. Flores, Members.

The results were released in two (2) days after the last day of examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 26 passed the Professional Electronics Engineer Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila this January 2009.

The members of the Board of Electronics Engineering are Engr. Sylvia Icasiano-Marcelo, Chairman; Engr. Nestor C. Dacanay and Engr. Joel B. Bajador, Members.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 17,816 elementary teachers out of 58,471 examinees and 18,801 secondary teachers out of 53,195 examinees successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on September 28, 2008 in 24 testing centers all over the Philippines. The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Josefina T. Cunanan, Vice-Chairperson, Dr. Flordeliza P. Mayari and Dr. Norma A. Adamos, Members.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 4,875 elementary teachers out of 18,386 examinees and 3,705 secondary teachers out of 14,767 examinees successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on April 6, 2008 in 14 testing centers all over the Philippines and 1 testing center in Hong Kong.
