The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Oathtaking of New Nurses in Baguio City

Baguio City, CAR – Happened on February 07, 2023 at Prince Bernhard Hall, Saint Louis University, the 32nd Oathtaking Ceremonies of the new Nurses in Baguio City was graced by the PRC Chairperson Hon. Charito A. Zamora. To inspire the new nurses of the region, Chairperson Zamora also delivered her message reminding the new professionals of their responsibility to explore the vast possibilities of the nursing profession and to evolve with it to meet the constantly changing demands of today’s complex healthcare system.

The oath of professional was administered by the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing Member, Hon. Carmelita C. Divinagracia.

The Philippines Nurses Association-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) Governor Judith Odanee G. Magwilang, the PRC-CAR Regional Director Juanita L. Domogen and the Cordillera Association of Nursing Deans Vice President John Michael P. Jarata were also present in the event.
