Separate test booklets will be used for the General Education (GE) and Professional Education (PE) subjects for both elementary and secondary levels in the March 10, 2013 Board Licensure Examination for professional teachers and succeeding board examinations.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers decided to use separate test booklets for GE and PE subjects in a meeting on January 23, 2013.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 10 out of 17 passed the Real Estate Consultant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Real Estate Service in Manila last December 2012.

A total of 40 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

Manila, January 2013 – Beginning January 8, 2013, the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No.10029, known as the “Psychology Act of 2009”, will be enforced, according to the Professional Regulatory Board of Psychology.

Manila, January 10, 2013 – Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Chairperson Teresita R. Manzala today effected the preventive suspension of PRC Commissioner Alfredo Y. Po following an order issued by the Office of the Ombudsman on January 9, 2013.

The order for preventive suspension was issued in accordance with Section 9, Rule III of Administrative Order No.7, as amended, and Section 24 of Republic Act No. 6770.
