The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the release of the Professional Identification Cards (IDs) for Criminologists, These IDs are ready to be claimed at PRC Cebu and Cagayan De Oro.

Those with pending claims are advised to check the website for the status of their applications for renewal of the PRC cards.

The Professional Regulation Commission announces that the licensure examination for social workers which is originally scheduled on June 12 and 13, 2012, has been re-set to June 26 and 27, 2012. The re-scheduling of the examination was made to allow more applicants to complete the documents needed for them to qualify for the examination.

Accordingly, the Board for Social Workers, per Resolution No. 1 dated March 12, 2012, resolved to move the deadline for the application period from May 23, 2012 to June 6, 2012.

The Professional Regulation Commission today announced it will be back to the normal printing schedules of the PRC identification card in a week or two, after it shall have wiped out the backlog in the printing of the ID cards. The release of the cards was delayed recently due to the failure of bidding for the supply and printing of the cards.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 650 out of 1,089 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination, 26 out of 50 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination and 23 passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Mechanical Engineer given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila and Cebu this March 2012.

Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) will start on March 16, 2012 but not later than March 27, 2012 at the Registration Division Ground Floor Unit C, Window 27. The Oath taking ceremonies of the Real Estate Service practitioners for Consultants, Appraisers and Brokers, to be held on April 18, 2012 at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila at 1:00 o’ clock in the afternoon. Those who were included in the prior approved resolutions may opt to attend the oath taking.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 533 out of 804 passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu this March 2012.

The members of the Board of Medical Technology who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Marietta C. Baccay, Chairman; Ms. Marilyn R. Atienza and Ms. Marian M. Tantingco, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examination.

The Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela got four of the 10 highest places in the February 2012 Physician licensure examination.

Ronald Resuma Ceriales obtained the highest spot with a rating of 88.50%,which is 2.58% higher than the second placer.

Aside from the first place, Our Lady of Fatima University – Valenzuela also took the Fifth place with Irvin Lorrie Pitapit Galvan – 85.42%; ninth place with Cherrylyn Restrivera Laguna – 84.67%; and the 10th place with 84.58% with Bill Allen De Guzman Alarcon and Uzziel Ginette Aguinaldo Bascao sharing the spot.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 39 out of 60 passed the Master Mariner Licensure Examination, 181 out of 334 passed the Chief Mate Licensure Examination and 683 out of 1,312 passed the Officer-In-Charge of a Navigational Watch Licensure Examination given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila and Iloilo this March 2012. A total of 59 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).
