The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 6 out of 14 passed the Physician Qualifying Assessment – Foreign Medical Professionals given by the Board of Medicine in Manila this September 2019.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 4,006 out of 4,716 passed the Physician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao this September 2019. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission announces the cancellation of the Licensure Examination for Medical Technologists scheduled on 21 - 22 September 2019 in the City of Tacloban. This is due to the low turnout of applicants for the said examination in the aforementioned testing center.

The Regional Director of Tacloban shall coordinate with the Licensure Division and advise concerned applicants/examinees to take the examination either in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Tuguegarao.

The Professional Regulation Commission announces the temporary suspension of services in PRC Pagadian on 17 September 2019 (Tuesday), in celebration of the City’s 67th Founding Anniversary.

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 811, “Declaring Tuesday, 17 September 2019, A Special (Non-Working) Day in the Province of Zamboanga Del Sur”.

The said office will resume its operations on 18 September 2019 (Wednesday).

Appointments set on the said date are still valid and will be entertained upon resumption of operations.

Section 3 of Republic Act No. 10847 stipulates that: “All registered and licensed Social Workers shall be united and integrated into one (1) national organization which shall be accredited by the Board, subject to the approval of the Commission, as the AIPO for social workers.  All registered and licensed Social Workers shall become members of the AIPO and shall consequently be entitled to all benefits and privileges incidental thereto upon payment of the required fees and dues.  Membership in the AIPO shall not be a bar to membership in any other professional organization.”
