The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

2 Bukidnon College Grads Top the December 2011 Nurse Licensure Exam

Jerald Lalaguna Pelayo from the Mountain View College in Valencia City Bukidnon topped the 67,095 examinees who took the December 2011 Nurse licensure examination with 86.40%.

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 22,760 out of 67,095 passed the exams given by the Board of Nursing simultaneously in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, La Union, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on December 2011.

Aside from Pelayo, Mountain View College also took the Ninth place with Jierell Mae Victor Saguinhon obtaining 84.20%.

Saint Paul University – Iloilo was the top performing school with 100% passing percentage.
