The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Board of Respiratory Therapy sets schedule of first licensure examination for Respiratory Therapists

Manila, June 13, 2013 --- The Professional Regulatory Board of Respiratory Therapy announces the conduct of its first licensure exam for Respiratory Therapists on October 29-30, 2013 in Manila.

The announcement was issued through Board Resolution No. 4 dated June 10, 2013, amending PRC Resolution No. 2012-701 or the Adoption of a Master Schedule of target dates of activities for year 2013 licensure examinations, including therein the schedule of the first Respiratory Therapists licensure exam.

The enactment of Republic Act No. 10024 otherwise known as the Philippine Respiratory Therapy Act of 2009 and the effectivity of its implementing rules and regulations in January 22, 2013, regulated the practice of the Respiratory Therapy profession by requiring all practitioners to undergo a licensure examination.
