The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Cancellation of Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination in PRC – Tacloban on 3-5 Aril 2019

The Professional Regulation Commission announces the cancellation of the April 2019 Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination in PRC – Tacloban per the Commission’s Memorandum dated 19 March 2019. This is following the low turnout of applicants for the said examination in the testing center.

The OIC – Director of the PRC – Tacloban shall coordinate with the Licensure Division relative to the cancellation and advise concerned applicants/examinees to take the examination either in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi.

The Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination shall proceed as scheduled on 3-5 April 2019 in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi.
