The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

June 2010 Dentist Licensure Examination results released in three (3) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 242 out of 340 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila this June 2010 .

The members of the Board of Dentistry are Dr. Daniel G. Feraro, Chairman; Dr. Melinda L. Garcia, Dr. Gloria M. Bumanlag, Dr. Steve Mark G. Gan and Dr. Rannier F. Reyes , Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examinations.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 but not later than June 23, 2010. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals .

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 1:30 in the afternoon at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Roxas Boulevard, Manila. STRICTLY BUSINESS ATTIRE FOR ALL SUCCESSFUL EXAMINEES .

Selling of oathtaking tickets will be from June 15, 2010 until July 7, 2010 only at the 2nd Floor, Ever Gotesco, Recto.

Registration for membership with the Philippine Dental Association will start on Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
