The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

NOTICE: To All Concerned 2nd Engineer Officers & Chief Engineer Officers Applicants to the Sept. 2012 Marine Engineer Officers Licensure Examinations

Notice is hereby given to all concerned Second Engineer Officers and Chief Engineer Officers applicants who will take the September 15 and 16, 2012 Marine Engineer Officers Licensure Examinations who are required to submit the Revised Management Level Course (RMLC) training certificates.

In view of the anticipated failure of the applicants to submit the revised MLC certificates on or before August 15, 2012 the deadline set for the processing of applications for the abovementioned licensure examinations, all concerned Second Engineer Officers and Chief Engineer Officers applicants shall be allowed to process their applications on or before August 15, 2012, provided they shall submit the enrolment or registration form from a MTC accredited training center as proof that their trainings are still on-going.

This Notice applies only for the September 15 and 16, 2012 Marine Engineer Officers (Written) Licensure Examinations. The revised MLC certificates however, shall be submitted not later than September 7, 2012 at Marine Engineer Officers Division, PRC Manila and/or PRC Cebu.

Non-submission of the said revised MLC certificates on the set deadline will mean: a) exclusion from the list of examinees who will take the September 15 and 16, 2012 Marine Engineer Officers licensure examination and b) non-issuance of the Notice of Admission.

Applicants for the said examination who will not be able to meet the deadline of completing the revised MLC requirements on or before September 7, 2012, may opt to file their application for the said Licensure Examination under the Walk-In Examination System (WES).

This Notice shall not apply to applicants to the Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch Licensure Examination.
