The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

PRC Offices Under GCQ and Opening on May 4, 2020

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 112 (s.2020) imposing a General Community Quarantine in some areas of the country from 01 to 15 May 2020, please be informed that the following offices of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will OPEN and RESUME frontline services starting May 4, 2020:

  • Region II (PRC Tuguegarao& Robinsons Place Santiago)
  • Region IV-B (Robinsons Place Palawan)
  • Region V (Robinsons Place Naga)
  • Region VII (Robinsons Place Dumaguete)
  • Region VIII (PRC Tacloban& Robinsons Place Ormoc)
  • Region IX (PRC Pagadian)
  • Region X (PRC Cagayan De Oro)
  • Region XII (PRC General Santos, PRC Robinsons Place Gensan, Kidapawan and Koronadal Service Centers)

If the previous appointment falls on a particular day, the client may transact on the same day under the new appointment schedule. For example, if the original appointment schedule is on March 17, 2020 (Tuesday) then the new appointment schedule will be on May 5, 2020 (Tuesday).

To protect its personnel and clients, PRC will also be implementing the following precautionary measures prior to entry and while inside the PRC premises:

PRIOR TO ENTRY TO PRC PREMISES:

  1. Please fall in line and observe social distancing by standing on the lines marked on the pavement.
  2. Wear face masks all throughout your stay in PRC premises.
  3. Avoid spitting on the sidewalk or pavement.
  4. No accompanying persons allowed. Those with disability or medical conditions requiring assistance will be assisted by PRC Personnel.
  5. Clients with fever, colds, cough are advised not to proceed with their transaction. Have your name registered with the Security Guard so that you will be accommodated at a later date when medical problems have been resolved.
  6. At the entrance, have your temperature taken.
  7. Pass through a sanitizing footbath by stepping/soaking the soles of your shoes in disinfectant.
  8. Disinfect your hands with 70% alcohol or sanitizer prior to entry into the building.
  9. Proceed only when the Security Guard signals you to enter. Go directly to the appropriate office or window.

WHILE INSIDE PRC PREMISES:

  1. Wear face masks all throughout your stay in PRC premises.
  2. Proceed directly to the area or window where you will be transacting business.
  3. Strictly observe social distancing and stay on designated chairs only. Do not move from one chair to another unless you are transferring to another area.
  4. If you have placed your documents in a plastic envelope, disinfect it with 70% alcohol prior to transacting business with PRC personnel.
  5. Disinfect your hands with 70% alcohol or sanitizer prior to transacting at any window. You may wear latex disposable gloves while transacting business.
  6. Dispose of used or contaminated face masks, gloves and facial tissues in marked garbage cans.
  7. Wash hands with soap and water after using the restrooms.

The transacting public is advised to strictly follow the above precautions.
