The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Seminar on Customer Basic Skills Management and Frontline Services

Manila, February 24, 2016 --- The Professional Regulation Commission, in its thrust to continuously improve the delivery of its service to its clients and stakeholders, held a two day seminar on Customer Basic Skills Management and Frontline Services aimed to improve the customer service skills of its employees. The first day was held last February 19, 2016 at the Examiner’s Lounge, 3rd Floor PRC Main Building, Manila. The 2nd day of the seminar was held on February 20, 2016.

The resource speaker was Ms. Zhenie F. Velasco, a B.S Foods and Nutrition Cum Laude graduate of University of Santo Tomas and 4th placer in the PRC Dietetics Board Examination. By profession, she is a registered nutritionist – dietician and psychologist.

The 2-day seminar has yielded its final outcome of further enhancing the abilities of our employees in the field of customer service especially on management skills and front line etiquette.
