The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Sipalay City is additional destination for mobile service

SIPALAY CITY, some three (3) hours south of Bacolod City is an additional destination for the Mobile Service dubbed “PRC-Iloilo On-The-Road” Program.

This visit shall facilitate the processing of applications for licensure examination for teachers, criminologists and other professional groups already accepted by the Online Application System or OAS, initial registration of new professionals, and renewal of professional identification card (PIC) mostly of professional teachers in the vicinity, namely Candoni, Cauayan, Hinoba-an, Ilog, and Kabankalan. Requests for Certificate of Good Standing (COGS), Certificate of Passing, Certificate of Rating, and Authentication of various PRC-issued documents such as PIC, Certificate of Registration, and Report of Rating shall also be accepted.

In collaboration with the Local Government Unit, thru the Office of the City Mayor, Hon. Oscar C. Montilla, Jr., the venue for service delivery shall be at the New Government Center (NGC) at Brgy. Gil Montilla, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.

This is the fifth travel,by teams from PRC-Iloilo, for the second quarter of 2014. PRC-Iloilo has been in Bacolod City (April 7 and 8), Roxas City, Capiz (April 14 and 15), Kalibo, Aklan (April 22-24), and Banga, Aklan (29 and 30 April).

All professionals are enjoined to come and avail of these services.
