The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Bangkok, Thailand on 24 September 2017

The PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISSION (PRC) announces that Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Professional Teachers will be conducted in Bangkok, Thailand on 24 September 2017.

Interested applicants may apply through the Online Application System (OAS) at this LINK up to August 14, 2017.

The basic documents required are:

 

  1. Photocopy of Transcript of Record (with or without scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination Purpose Only”)
  2. Photocopy of valid passport
  3. Three (3) passport-size pictures with complete nametag in white background

Applicants or any authorized representative shall pay examination fees at the Cashier at the PRC Central Office or any Regional Office. Present proof of successful application (see sample). The amount shall be the Peso equivalent of the USD 40 based on the exchange rate of the previous day preceding the day of payment as determined by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

After complying with the online processes and payment, the documents shall be submitted to:

The Embassy will accept the printed and signed application form together with the photocopy of the official receipt (O.R.) and the documentary requirements up to August 20, 2017 only. Original copies of the above mentioned documentary requirements shall be presented to the PRC Examination Team for validation upon arrival at the examination venues.

The Embassy will pre-qualify the applicants and pre-evaluate the documents submitted. The Embassy will then be required to submit the namelist and documents of the following to PRC by August 28, 2017.

 

  1. Pre-qualified applicants for Elementary Level
  2. Pre-qualified applicants for Secondary Level (per major subject of specialization)

The list of conditionally-approved applicants shall be posted at the PRC Website and shall be forwarded to the testing center.
