The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. A guide to understanding and implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is available at: https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING-WCAG20/

All iGovPhil Project services and content are currently moving towards WCAG Level A compliance. Work is being done to make the system fully compliant with this level.

Temporary Suspension of Frontline Services in PRC Morayta and PRC PICC

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that onsite work and frontline services at the PRC offices in Morayta, Manila and in Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City will be temporarily suspended on July 6, 2020 (Monday).

The suspension is to facilitate the disinfection of the PRC premises, after an employee and a transacting public tested positive in Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test for COVID-19.

To minimize disruption on the delivery of services to the public, work-from-home arrangement will be implemented in the above PRC offices. Concerns and queries on relevant services may be sent to concerned offices at the email addresses provided on this link.

Affected appointments on the other hand will be accommodated upon resumption of onsite operations on July 7, 2020 (Tuesday).
