MANILA, PHILIPPINES – With the aim of promoting a healthier ecosystem and regreening the environment, June 25 of every year was declared as the Philippines Arbor Day through Proclamation 643, s. 2004.

The ‘Philippines Arbor Day’ is observed throughout the nation by planting trees and ornamental plants, and other forms of relevant activities which foster partnerships and environmental stewardship among various sectors in the society.

The Professional Regulation Commission joins the nation in ensuring a greener future while fostering a culture of sustainability and respect for nature as the Philippines celebrates its Arbor Day.

“As we plant trees, we plant Hope!”
