MANILA, PHILIPPINES – With the intention of exploring and reaching out further to our migrant Filipino Professionals, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC / Commission) met with the Commission on Filipino Overseas (CFO) on June 23, 2025 (Monday) at the PRC Main Building, Second Floor, Conference Room on the intertwining the possible role of CFO in the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) and the recognition of Filipino engineers’ skills and professional qualifications abroad. 

Representing PRC were: Hon. Charito A. Zamora – PRC Chairperson; Mr. L. Louis P. Valera – Assistant Commissioner; Ms. Marie Cecille P. Fernando – Chief, Qualification Recognition Division; and Atty. Angiereen D. Medina, Director –  Administrative Service. The CFO was represented by:  CFO Secretary Dante Ang II, together with Engr. Romeo Rosas II, Ms. Marita Del Rosario – Apattad, Mr. Michael Apattad, Mr. Joshuaarth Sabino, and Mr. Elmer Paul Cristobal, CFO.

This initiative reaffirms PRC’s continuous effort and commitment in promoting the welfare of Filipino professionals across the globe.
