Manila, March 19, 2013 -- The Professional Regulation Commission today announced the new schedules of the subjects in the May 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2013 Board licensure examination for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 20 out of 31 passed the Landscape Architect Licensure Examination given by the Board of Landscape Architecture in Manila this March 2013.

The members of the Board of Landscape Architecture who gave the licensure examination are Carlito B. Pesons, Chairman; Cecilia H. Tence and Cynthia M. Sundiang, Members.

Manila, March 8, 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission announces that the licensure examination for Certified Public Accountants originally scheduled on May 12, 13 and 19, 20, 2013 has been re-set to MAY 19, 20 and 26, 27, 2013.

The Board of Accountancy through Board Resolution No. 57 dated March 5, 2013 stressed the need to re-schedule the dates of the examination as the second day falls on the date of the national elections on May 13, 2013.

The CPA licensure exam will be held in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Legazpi.

Manila, March 8, 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today stated that 76,230 examinees will be taking the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on March 10, 2013 in 13 testing centers nationwide and one testing center in Hong Kong.

The PRC said that bulk of LET takers comes from the National Capital Region with an estimated 16,815 examinees while 0.72% or 547 examinees will take the exam in Hong Kong.

Manila, March 7, 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission announces the adoption of the new assessment schedule of Annual Registration Fees (ARF) for CY-2013. The ARF is embodied in Office Memorandum No. 2013-02 dated February 12, 2013.

Manila, March 6, 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission announces the resumption of the I.D. Express Lane in the central and regional offices starting March 4, 2013.

Under Office Order No. 2013-97 dated February 25, 2013, the Professional Identification Cards (PICs) Express Lane shall apply to:

• Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) upon presentment of contract of employment, plane ticket, and visa, if applicable; and

Manila, March 4, 2013 – The Professional Regulatory Board of Dentistry today announced the holding of the First National Conference of Registered Dental Technologists (RDTs) on March 14-15, 2013 at the AFP Officers Club in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The conference aims to establish a national organization and provide a venue to clarify the laws, code of ethics, regulations, and issues regarding the profession.
