The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 23 out of 47 passed the Master Mariner Licensure Examination, 156 out of 409 passed the Chief Mate Licensure Examination and 687 out of 1,247 passed the Officer-In-Charge of a Navigational Watch Licensure Examination given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila and Iloilo this January 2013. A total of 40 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

Manila, January 2013 – Beginning January 8, 2013, the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No.10029, known as the “Psychology Act of 2009”, will be enforced, according to the Professional Regulatory Board of Psychology.

The IRR issued by the Board of Psychology under Resolution No.3 dated November 28, 2012 was published last December 25, 2012 in the Official Gazette.

Manila, January 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission today announced that the Professional Identification Cards (PICs) applied for at all SM Malls nationwide will be released in 20 working days beginning January 17, 2013.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 641 out of 1,181 passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao this January 2013.

The members of the Board of Pharmacy who gave the licensure examination are Ms. Marilyn M. Young-Tiu, Chairman and Ms. Jennifer M. Flores, Member.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

Manila, January 10, 2013 – Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Chairperson Teresita R. Manzala today effected the preventive suspension of PRC Commissioner Alfredo Y. Po following an order issued by the Office of the Ombudsman on January 9, 2013.

The order for preventive suspension was issued in accordance with Section 9, Rule III of Administrative Order No.7, as amended, and Section 24 of Republic Act No. 6770.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 8 passed the Technical Evaluation for the Upgrading as Professional Electrical Engineers given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila this January 2013.

Notice is hereby given to all concerned applicants for Management Level who will take the January 19 and 20, 2013 and February 13 and 14, 2013 Marine Deck and Engineer Officers Licensure Examinations who are required to submit the Revised Management Level Course (RMLC) training certificates.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 15 out of 26 passed the Dental Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila last December 2012.

The results were released in six (6) working days after the last day of examination.

Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) will start on January 7 to 11, 2013 at the PRC-REGISTRATION DIVISION UNIT C.
