The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 85 out of 170 passed the Aeronautical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Aeronautical Engineering in Manila this November 2012.

The members of the Board of Aeronautical Engineering are Engr. Ernesto B. Ferreras, Jr., Chairman; and Engr. Redentor C. Malia, Member.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 7,171 out of 22,289 passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Criminology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last October 2012. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

Manila, November 2012 -- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today cautioned applicants, prospective takers of various licensure examinations and members of their families against fixers out to prey on unsuspecting victims.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 32 out of 69 passed the Master Mariner Licensure Examination, 211 out of 382 passed the Chief Mate Licensure Examination and 806 out of 1,422 passed the Officer-In-Charge of a Navigational Watch Licensure Examination given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila and Davao this November 2012. A total of 78 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 23 out of 68 Registered Electrical Engineers and 68 out of 136 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Al-Khobar and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in Doha, Qatar last October 2012.

The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Fortunato C. Leynes, Chairman; Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza and Engr. Francis V. Mapile, Members.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 379 out of 812 passed the Librarian Licensure Examination given by the Board for Librarians in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi this November 2012.

The members of the Board for Librarians who gave the licensure examination are Corazon M. Nera, Chairman; Arabella M. Ananoria and Mila M. Ramos, Members.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

Manila, October 2012 -- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today issued a disclaimer over a Public Announcement purportedly recommending to the House of Representatives the adoption of a resolution for the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service (PRB-RES) to resolve the PhilRES’ AIPO status in compliance with Section 34 of the Real Estate Service Act of the Philippines.

The PRC and the PRB-RES both said the issuance of the public announcement bearing the seal and logo of the PRC and the PRB-RES is not official.

Manila, October 2012 -- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today issued a statement to correct the erroneous publication of the list of passers of the CPA Licensure Examination conducted last October 2012 which indicated that the University of the Philippines – Visayas – Cebu City did not have any board passers. UP Visayas Cebu City does not offer Accountancy as a course.
