The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 7 out of 32 passed the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Manama, Bahrain; Doha, Qatar and in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait last August 2019. 

Section 3 of Republic Act No. 10847 stipulates that: “All registered and licensed Social Workers shall be united and integrated into one (1) national organization which shall be accredited by the Board, subject to the approval of the Commission, as the AIPO for social workers.  All registered and licensed Social Workers shall become members of the AIPO and shall consequently be entitled to all benefits and privileges incidental thereto upon payment of the required fees and dues.  Membership in the AIPO shall not be a bar to membership in any other professional organization.”

This is pursuant to Executive Order No. 2019-09-165 series of 2019 issued by the City Mayor on the suspension of work in all government offices within the City of Tacloban due to the continuing inclement weather brought by tropical depression named “Marilyn”.
