The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 251 out of 352 passed the Optometrist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Optometry in Manila this July 2012.

The members of the Board of Optometry are Dr. Vivian S. Sarabia, Chairman; Dr. Anita S. Villarta and Dr. Noel L. Santos, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examinations.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 166 out of 440 passed the Forester Licensure Examination given by the Board for Foresters in the cities of Manila and Davao this July 2012.

The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission today announced the pilot-testing of its In-house Printing of Professional Identification Cards (PRC IDs). The In-house ID printing seeks to hasten the processing and release of PRC IDs to better serve Filipino professionals renewing their IDs.

Beginning July 18, 2012, applicants renewing their PRC IDs are advised to observe the following procedure:

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,117 out of 1,770 passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao this July 2012.

The results were released in five (5) working days after the last day of examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 587 out of 1,117 passed the Real Estate Appraiser Licensure Examination given by the Board of Real Estate Service in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo this July 2012.

The members of the Board of Real Estate Service who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Eduardo G. Ong, Chairman; Ramon C. F. Cuervo III, Florentino C. Diño II and Rafael M. Fajardo, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days after the day of the said examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission announces the scheduled systems maintenance of its On-line Application System (OAS) on July 28 and 29, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday).

Visitors of http://www.prc.gov.ph are advised that the On-line Application System (OAS) shall temporarily be closed during the dates mentioned.

The system, however, shall be restored to its normal operations on July 30, 2012.

The maintenance of the PRC’s OAS aims to ensure and maintain quality service to PRC’s clientele.

The Professional Regulation Commission recently issued PRC Resolution No.2012-668 dated June 21, 2012 setting the guidelines in implementing Section 7, paragraphs (j), (l) and Section 16 of R.A.8981 otherwise known as the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, the pertinent provisions of various Professional Regulatory Laws, the general agreement on trade in services, and other international agreements on the practice of foreign professionals in the Philippines.

Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) will start on July 18, 2012 but not later than July 24, 2012 at the Registration Division Ground Floor Unit C, Window 27. The Oath taking ceremonies of the Real Estate Service practitioners for Consultants, Appraisers and Brokers, to be held on August 14, 2012 at the Pandanggo Hall, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila at 1:00 o’ clock in the afternoon. Those who were included in the prior approved resolutions may opt to attend the oath taking.

The Professional Regulation Commission passed the Civil Service Commission’s Report Card Survey. It received an acceptable rating in the Anti-Red Tape Act (ARTA) Survey in compliance with Republic Act 9485, otherwise known as “An act to improve efficiency in the delivery of the government service to the public by reducing bureaucratic red tape, preventing graft and corruption and providing penalties thereof”.
